I am Clint Jones owner and founder of Future Fitness. I started working at Jaguar Cars at the age of 16 and started weight training at home at the age of 20 first competing in a local body building show at 22 years old, whilst still only training at home. This is when I got the bug for weight training and body building.
At 28 years old I bought the Flex Gym and personally continued to compete at a national level.
By this time I had seen the direction weight training and fitness was heading towards and felt Flex Gym, although good, could be improved and thus Future Fitness was born in 1999. I saw Future Fitness as a progressive name that wouldn't ever date.
I last competed in 1996 in the EFBB British Heavy Weights - the first person to ever qualify for that competition in Coventry, I was placed 7th. I decided aged 34 with the imminent birth of my first son and the approaching commitments of fatherhood, I couldn't give 100% to competitive training, so redirected my concentration to evolving Future Fitness as Coventry's Number 1 training facility.
I have an incredible wealth of knowledge of both training and nutrition which I freely share with all members of the gym and continue to train as hard as ever as I approach 50.
